Scott Reid

• Scott is an Australian ( New South Wales) qualified lawyer and previously worked in the Hong Kong office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he advised major international corporations on their investments and joint venture activities in China across a wide range of industries including: mining, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services and telecommunication industries.
  
  
• Scott has also worked in the Hong Kong office of a substantial Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law firm where he advised major international institutional, financial and corporate clients on the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands aspects of fund formation, debt finance, capital raisings and merger and acquisitions.
  
  
• Scott speaks fluent Mandarin and can read and write Chinese and his practice focuses primarily on assisting China, Taiwan and Singapore based clients establish and administer Cayman Islands investment funds.
  
  
• Scott is presently based in Shanghai and in addition to assisting the firm with Far East based clients he is currently engaged on special business development projects.
